Jenny Packham studied Fashion at Southampton Solent University before graduating with a First Class Honours degree from Central St Martins School of Art in London. In November 2008, she was awarded an honorary degree from Southampton Solent University, in her home city of Southampton[2].
She founded Jenny Packham London– designing evening wear – and launched her first collection at the London Designer Show in 1988. The label now has stores in London and Paris, and is stocked in luxury stores in the UK and the USA. [3]
She has been named as Hollywood Style Designer of the Year, International Couture Bridal Designer of the Year 2007 and British Bridal Dress Designer of the Year 2008 and 2011.
Packham’s clientele includes artists from Keira Knightley, Beyonce and Jennifer Lopez to Cameron Diaz, Jessica Biel, Jennifer Aniston and Olga Kascheeva.[6]
Packham’s designs can be seen on the red carpets of Los Angeles at events from the Academy Awards to the Grammy’s.
Jenny Packham designed the widely reported short red dress worn by Emma Watson in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – Part 1. She has also designed items for the James Bond movies Die Another Dayand Casino Royale.[7]
Jenny Packham worked closely with Academy Award nominated Patricia Field, regularly dressing Kim Catrall in Sex and the City series and the movie. Packham also worked with Patricia Field, when Field styled her A/W 2007 collection in Milan.[8]
The Duchess of Cambridge wore several Jenny Packham dresses during her tour of Canada and Los Angeles in July 2011.[9][10]
Jenny Packman has also designed pin badges for Cancer Research UK, for their Give In Celebration range, which are used as Wedding favours.(wikipedia)
